Good news everyone...?

I chose the religion I'm currently following because its moral code perfectly matched the ethics I had embraced as an atheist -- that is, as a human being.

Choosing to honor the Gods of my faith didn't change who I am at heart. And everybody has morals, with the possible exception of sociopaths.

Of course I had morals. No Christian claims that atheists have no sense of morality. What we argue is that they have no foundation to place their morals on. Atheists do not believe in sin, but a vague concept of good and bad.

Things changed after I got saved. I could understand things much more clearly, and I saw things differently than I saw them before.

I have a question...

To religious folk that used to be non-religious (atheist to be specific); did you have any morals before you converted? Did you get them after you converted or did they merely change a little (or maybe a lot)?

I have to agree with Saint Bradley. My morals got a lot better after I recanted Christianity. You really start to think about what you say and how it affects others. That makes you become highly aware of, not only yourself, but your surroundings - too.
