Im looking to change from the factory system in my car to something with better sound, my dad told me to get an amp and a name brand deck(he used to install stereos for a living), but I guess a lot of stereos these days have them built in? or am i wrong? fill me in, thanks

Whats most crucial for me is sound....pioneer is the primary brand I am looking at, was looking for a specific answer on good quality stereos...I will be keeping the factory speakers right now, my dad said they are good ones...right now its a high quality deck im looking for
I can afford a dvd player stereo, but I couldnt care less for a DVD player personally, just want supreme sound, I am thinking about A navigation system in it as well
