Fascism is not Nazism. Nazism is a totalitarian system which bases everything on the good of the Aryan race, and therefore, tends to swing significantly to the left, while also formulating state policies based off faulty racialist ideas which work to divide, rather than unite people.
Fascism, on the other hand, is an excellent system which stresses Nationalism, militarism, and creation of power. The MSI (Movimento Sociale Italiano), which is a more modern Fascist party in Italy, got about 5% of the vote in national elections, before being superceded by the National Alliance, which includes Mussolini as one of their major influences, gets about 12% of the vote. Combine that with plenty of nostalgic Il Duce products in northern Italy, theres plenty of support there for the greatest leader of modern Italy.
