Good head-turning cars?

I somewhat recently had to sell my 2004 Rx8 with full body kit and everything....AWESOME CAR.

I got SO much attention everywhere I went, I LOVED it.......and the power was pretty friggin good too.

I'm going to be enlisting soon, and I will have a steady income, which will hopefully allow me to upgrade from my downgraded car (2001 hyundai accent).

I was just wondering, what cars are real head-turners?

My price range would be less than $12K ideally.

I haven't really seen much that compares to the car I had, but I can't find one like I had with the kit...which sucks.

Any input?

(I don't mind used, but I don't want like a 1972 restored something)

My mate just bought the new 2010 Camaro, and while it's one nice ass car, I personally don't like muscle cars as much, I much rather prefer really sporty cars.

Any ideas?
