Good Gym Workout for building an athletic build?

Ok so i'm looking to build a little muscle and get a more athletic build, what do you guys think to this workout?

Monday - Upper Body resistance training
Tuesday- Rest day or light cardio
Wednesday - Lower Body and Abs resistance training
Thursday- Rest
Friday - Free Weights

Any improvements or suggestions welcome :)
