Good first android phone?

I just registered, looking for advice on my first android. My contract with T Mobile is about to end and I want to step up from my crappy Samsung Gravity. I'm looking at Att's HTC Inspire 4G, Tmobile's Motorola Defy, and Sprint's Samsung Epic 4g. I'm probably going to use it mostly to listen to music, browse youtube and play various games on it. Possibly more, not sure what else I could really do with these phones.
 
If you want to stay bleeding edge, I'd say go with the Tmobile G2x as of now. Other than that, any dual core made by LG or Samsung (the Samsung Galaxy S II line isn't out in the states just yet though). HTC just announced they won't be locking their bootloaders anymore, so future HTC phones should be safe.
 
Im trying to stay away from T-Mobile as I'm rather upset with their Customer Service. I haven't really looked at Verizon Wireless so I'll check out the Droid X. Can you list the LG and Samsung phones that have a Dual Core processor?
