Brightly Burning: Mercedes Lackey (my fav author) ~~ good book, hard to describe briefly, so if you want a summary I'm sorry but go to google, It's easy to find though, trust me.
Inheritance Series: Christopher Paolini (my fav series) ~~ here is the summary for the 1st book Eragon: "When Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest, he thinks it is the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy; perhaps it will buy his family meat for the winter. Obsidian Trilogy: Mercedes Lackey ~~ summary is too long to write out word for word, but basically this boy called Kellen found three books of magic, that were forbidden where he lived, it tells of his tale after he found the books. Extremely interesting, so sorry if I didn't give it justice with this summary.
Inheart Series: Cornelia Funke ~~here is a summary for the 1st book: "One cruel night, Meggie's father reads aloud from Inkheart, and an evil ruler named Capricorn escapes the boundaries of the book, landing in their living room. Suddenly Meggie's in the middle of the kind of adventure she thought only took place in fairy tales. Somehow she must master the magic that had conjured up this nightmare. The Hobbit: a prequel to Lord of the Rings, showing how Bilbo Baggins leaves the shire and goes off on a strange adventure.
