I want a cell phone from Verizon but I dont want to play for the data plan so no smartphones.

Just need a fast, good all around phone. Would be awesome if I could have some sort of nes/snes emulator and be able to play some media.

Budget is around $100-$200.

I dont really know much about cell phones other than I dont want to pay for the monthly data plan.

Anyways, thanks in advance!! I appreciate your input.

As a recommendation, if you want to see what actual customers are saying about all of the Verizon phones, check out the reviews here:

You can actually filter your search by phone type, price, etc. Personally, I have the Motorola Z6tv, and am quite happy with it. Since Verizon has discontinued that model, the closest thing they would have is the Z6c (a slider with both CDMA and GSM capability) ... check it out.

My daughter and I both have the LG env2. So far they have been great phones. I have heard about the 1st generation of the env2 and reports were not good. I had a friend that had one and he traded it for the upgraded env2and now he is very happy. I have had a lot of fun with mine. Very easy to make ringtones and send them to the phone. Music is very easy to put on the phone, too. Text messaging is very easy, even with my big hands. Watch out about a lot of the reviews on the internet about the env2. Most of them were done with the 1st generation env2. If you go with this phone, I don't think you can go wrong.

LG Dare, versa, envy, voyager, or samsung glyde. Go play with those at the vzw store and see what you like best, and read reviews of them at various websites. Have fun, happy phone hunting.
