Good Exercise/Eating plan?

Ok, I want my body to not be all that huge. I just want to have well defined muscles with a runners build. What would be a good exercise and eating plan to get this? I would prefer to stay away from a gym, with my exercises stuff I could do at home. Though, if I do have to go to a gym, I guess I could somehow save up some money. Thanks in advanced!

This is simpler than it sounds.

For example, if you want a boxer's build, you do what boxers do: You run 5 miles, 5x per week, do 1000 situps everyday, and spar in the gym for 2 hours 3x per week.

If you want a runner's build, you do what runners do: You run 5 miles, 5x per week. And you reduce your caloric intake slightly to further reduce body fat.

To help with the muscles, do resistance training (pushups, pullups, chinups, light dumbbells) 3x per week. Also make sure to eat a lot of protein to help maintain muscle and increase lean muscle tissue. As your body fat % goes down (due to running and slight decrease in caloric intake), your muscles will look more and more defined.

With regard to caloric intake, find your BMR: http://www.weightlossbibleonline.com/2009/11/bmr-maintenance-level-calculator/

Because your exercising so much, you should be eating right at your BMR level. Definitely not any less than your BMR.
