Well I'm at home alot and it's really hard to know what to cook for me and my brother. I'm 15 and he's 17 but he's not really that great at cooking so I cook for him (I don't mind, I like cooking). My mum and dad are working late and they know we are responsible enough to look after ourselves. Lately I can't think of anything to cook, it's been ready meal after ready meal. I have to base the cooking time around my brother's work so he doesn't eat too late.

I need meals that take up to 20 minutes to prepare AND cook. I can get all the ingredients that are needed so it's not a problem.

Any help would be great thanks!

I live on my own, and am a `lazy` cook (I don`t like to spend a lot of time cooking).

You can`t beat a nice `Jacket potato` done in the micro-wave. It can take a while as it is better done on a low heat - but you can let it cook away while you are doing something else.

I then scoop out the middle, mix the mash in with an egg, put it back into the scooped out spud, and reheat it until the egg is also cooked.
Cover it with grated cheese (or just thin sliced if you are in a hurry) or cover it with cheese sauce, which can be bought ready made in a jar.

Beans on toast are also quick, if you like them.
As are fried (or scrambled in the micro-wave) eggs on toast.

Deep pan french fries are also quicker than some people think, which you can eat with most anything. I often have a micro-wave heated meat pie with mine.
