I've decided to read a book a week over the course of the summer. I've mainly been reading books by fellow Buddhists (such as Thich Nhat Hanh and Daisaku Ikeda). Does anyone have any suggestions on who else I might read? I'm interested in learning from all points of view, so I don't care what school of practice the author(s) follow.

Two by the Dalai Lama I liked very much are:

Ethics for the New Millenium
An Open Heart

Also, one with the Dalai Lama by a Chinese author, Victor Chan, called The Wisdom of Forgiveness.
