good books for kids ages 6 and 7. I need...?

When i was in 1st grade i remember, one of my favorite books to get and read was i think The Caterpillar i'm not sure if that's exactly the title. But it's very interesting im sure they'll love it. You should look in the scholastic internet website.
 
My daughter is 7 and reads the Little House on the Prairie Series books by herself as well as she reads the Tinkerbell series that are catered to her age group.

Eric Carle is good, as well as Jan Brett, Robert Munsch, etc. So many titles and authors I can't ramble them all off. I usually take my kids to the library once a week and select a dozen or so books along with my pickings.
