Good books for 13 y/o girls?

My little sister is turning 13 on the fourth and she loves to read. What are some good books that arn't too mature for 13 y/o's.
No twilight please! i dont want her reading that...
She does like girly books (clique series) but she did enjoy the books "rules", "the wedding planners daughter" and "kiss me tomorrow"

I am 14 and i like the gossip girl series.
I also enjoyed the new lauren conrad book: LA Candy.
If you look in the young adult section at Borders, you will definitely find something there!

ooh the night world series by lj smith soo awsome its a really good book if ur into vamps wearwolves shapeshifters that kind of thing it switches the storeis soo that each different story u hav new characters but they are are related in some way at the end of the series soo each story has its pupose
evernight and strgazer by claudia gray pretty good.. it had a twist on the vapire thing ithas a lil bit of maybe a boring part in it but i gets going again after that chapter
evermore by alyson noel really good there is no comparison to twilight
the imortal instuments by cassandra clare ..(awesome series its better than twilight anytime its jus amazing there is never EVER a boring part in this book im ur sisters age soo i know wats good and nt lol)
if she is lik into realistic fiction stories then yeah go mwith any story from sarah dessen im mean she is really good lik that lol and her books teach u somthing every time
13 little blue enveloupes maureen jonson really good it also teaches u a leson on how to get a life lesson out of it
if i stay by gale forman really good lol its about a girl who desides wheather to live since she is in a comma after a carcrash killed her whole family when all she has is her boyfriend and her grandparents now
else where by gabrielle zevin it is jus teacheing u bout how after deaf where u go but the put into way were u can understand it in a way thats nt complicated
breathless by lurlene mcdaniel is about this swimmere who finds out that he has bone cancer and they cut off his leg and he tries to get his friend to help him kill himself but they wont help him but one day he falls into a coma when he didnt want to die on life suport and his sister respects his wishes and kills him ilegaley but it is more interesting then how i explain it lol

good luck with finding a book that she wants hey wait or u can jus go up to her when she is reading somthing one day and be like wat kind of books do u ik and if she ask why then jus be like becasue i wanna know why u like reading so much ecause its boring lol hope u find somthing that she likes ohh yeah and dont juge a book by its cover okay
