Good books and Albert Camus?

I recently finished "The Stranger" by Albert Camus and I really liked it. I plan on picking up "The Plague" which is also by Camus soon, but I was wondering if any of you have read any other books by him? If so, can you tell me if you think they are good or not?

Also, I'd love suggestions on books similar to these. I enjoy contemporary literature, written in a style like J.D. Salinger/ Vonnegut/Burgess. More telling than showing if you know what I mean. Everybody seems to love lots of detail in writing, but I don't like for the author to rule my imagination.
