my origional ones went out after about a week, and i bought some energizers, and two sets of those lasted about a week. is there a rechargable set or anything?

Go to Walmart (or any retail store, Walmart is just cheaper) and find the digital camera section. They should have packs of AA rechargable batteries with a charger. I picked up a set of four AA Kodak batteries w/ charger for $9. Duracell and Energizer rechargables will run you more, but so far, the kodaks work like a charm.

I picked up an Energizer set from Walgreens for like $17 (4x). I need to pick up another set.

This is my only complaint against the system, they should of made (even if it were extra $$$) a recharging solution ... the thing tears through batteries.

They're AA batteries, not proprietary Nintendo batteries. My point is why wait when there are literally half a dozen choices in your nearest retail store NOW?!

oh no, I know that. I have several sets of the energizer rechargables and they are great. BUT I would personally rather have a cradle I could just drop my remotes into when they are not in use that charges them. convenience is always nice. in the meantime the rechargables work just fine I understand.

now if I can just GET a wii it'll be all good

Is anyone else a little surprised by the lack of 3rd party controllers/accessories? With as fast as they are moving anyone that can get something to market would make a killing.

Oh yeah, I can understand the cradle idea. That would be pretty sweet, just hope it won't be expensive. I'm still waiting for my Wii, too. It's driving me crazy.

Only thing they list are the component cables. I'm sure they will have something later.

open up the back of your wiimote, youll quickly find out that that battery pack wont work. i noticed that the first time i put batteries in it.
