Good amp/sub/installation for 400 - 600?

im looking to spend about that, i dont mind buying the amp and installation first becaus ei have a sub that isnt quite as har dhitting that im looking for but will do the trick till i get more money, i just wanted to get ideas for a hard hitting sub , probablt a 10 inch with a box... give me your ideas, i know the more you spend the better, but i just wanted to see what you guys think! thanks!
 
IF you go on overstock.com you can find subs, and other car audio for cheap. I found a 1200 watt amp for about 123 dollars. Id look there and see what you can get.
 
Check pawn shops, ones that dont deal in subs and amps very often, cause they dont know what their worth. i picked up 3 kicker L7s, a RockFord 1000 watt driver, and a 500 watt Rockford amp in a custom box for 500 dollars. Stick with the old school RockFords, tha Audiobuhans, Kicker, and MA Audio,
