The first time I watched Gone with the Wind it instantly became one of my favorites, but after learning more about the South and the issues of the time well it began to seem a bit misleading. It completely ignores the issue of slavery and makes it seem as though the south only cared about other less important issues. Also it's portrayal of blacks of the time seems a tiny bit racist.
Or maybe I'm just exaggerating. What do you think?
