I watched this on Sky Premiere a couple of weeks ago. Well, what I mean is I tried watching this on Sky Premiere a couple of weeks ago.

I had been looking forward to seeing it for months, it started at 10pm and by 10.10pm I was bored to death with not being able to understand most of what was being said and had switched over to Sky News

After reading the reviews here I might try giving it another go next time it's on Sky.

Its a really good film but I did have to put subtitles on when I watched the dvd, as I struggled to understand half of what Casey Affleck was mumbling/saying.

saw this quite some time ago....loved this film, some great acting from Casey Affleck...Didn't know Ben Affleck even had a younger brother...he's quite hanRABome too lol....liked the ending to it...wasn't very typical hollywood style ending...xo

i like Casey Affleck = but he just comes across to me as a crackwhore drug addict in every movie i see him OR some kind of creepy stalker type of weirdo!

I re-watched this last night and, if possible, I enjoyed it even more the second time around.

This is the type of movie that really makes you think.

What would you do in that situation? It's a heart or head dilemma. I personally believe he did the right thing.

I adore Casey Affleck and the Boston accent. He acted superbly, as did all of the cast.

I heard that Helene's friend Dotti was actually a local who kicked up such a fuss about the disruption caused to the neighbourhood that Ben Affleck gave her a part. I thought she was excellent!
