Gold oranda fish has injury please help.?

My gold oranda fish has a small wound to the side of his body. It started out like a few missing scales and it had bleed a bit. Now it seems to be infected and the side of his belly is swollen. I can't see that it is going to get better. It has been like this for a couple of weeks but looks real bad right now. It does not seem to affect him in any way - his name is Rex. So is there anything i can put on it? I have 3 other orandas in the tank and they all get along very well. Thanks in advance.
 
If it is looking infected I would suggest an antibiotic or anti biotic food for him.

How did he get this injury and are you sure it is not from a parasite?

You need to be careful with decorations in any fish tank.

Try the antibiotic if it is an infection it will help clear it up and start to heal.
