Going to the cinema tonight, which of these films do you reccomend?

The films i'm interested in seeing... are;

superbad

death proof

i now pronounce you chuck and larry

1408

Which one to watch... which to avoid?
 
superbad - I hate teen comedies so don't know if this is a "good" one of those.

death proof - Saw the preview with my gf (who's a big Tarantino fan) & the dialogue was painfully bad in places. Action scenes were good but not worth seeing. If it wasn't for the live interview with Tarantino to be shown afterward swe may have walked out.

i now pronounce you chuck and larry - May be so bad it's good, but I doubt it.

1408 - The best Stephen King adaptation since Carrie - I reccomend this out of your choices.

How about Atonement, or 3:10 to Yuma? They're both better than 1408.
 
Seriously? Atonement? It was utter bollocks, i've just got back from seeing it. I will watch anything at all and usually i find at least something positive to say about some aspect of a film, but atonement, all i can come up with is that the acting was alright. Long winded, pretentious garbage
 
I hope you didnt see 1408 as that film is terrible and ive heard Chuck & Larry is bad as well. I loved Deathproof but it is a film you will either love or hate. So I would have recommended Superbad as its a class film and very funny!
 
I was going to suggest a film but because this thread was posted yesterday.I'm guessing the OP went to the pictures last night.
 
The first hour of Superbad is brilliant. But the second hour is kinda boring.

Chuck & Larry is surprisingly good and worth your money.

I'd go and see either chuck and larry or death proof
