What should me & my boyfriend go and see?

Charlie & The Chocolate Factory will have just opened and will no doubt be sooo busy.
Boyfriend doesn't like Batman (never been able to get into the story)
War of the WorlRAB: Got mixed reviews

and i'm personally not too keen on horror/thrillers.

Any suggestions?

I thought The Decent was average and way overhyped. The Wedding Crashers is funny but not as funny as Dodgeball. WOTW is really good and well worth seeing and so is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!
 
Please don't go and see WOTW, for me, please. :(

CatCF or TWC i'd reccomend by my limited knowledge of what you like.

I'm off to catch up this weeked, seeing The Descent, Batman, and maybe one other.
 
I dont understand why people didnt like WOTW as it was one of the best summer blockbusters. Only beaten for me by Batman Begins, Sin City and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory!
However everybody is entitled to their own option. I think the safest bet is go and see Charlie And The Chocolate Factory!

WOTW was a very average film at best. The term 'blockbuster' and big effects don't make a great film on their own.
 
I know that big effects or the term blockbuster dont make a great film but my option is that WOTW was one of the better films released this summer!
I saw Charlie and The Chocolate Factory at a preview screening on sunday in the UGC in Cardiff and I will still go and see it again when it is offically released in the UK!
 
Madagascar is apparantly alright, my parents went to see it at the weekend.

War of the worlRAB was good, but the ending ruined it for me, wont say anymore though.

Mr and Mrs Smith was alright, especially if you dont really want to think about what your watching.

Batman was good, unfortunately the lighting budget must have been cut, the whole film is lit by a single 40 watt light bulb.

Not seen charlie and the chocolate factory but looking forward to it, possibly go when it comes out.
 
Don't bother with War Of The WorlRAB, its a good movie but there isnt much of a War.

get Independance Day on dvd instead :D
 
I am off to see Fantastic Four this afternoon but I am not expecting much at all after reading the reviews for it. So I hope that it surprises me and is quite good!
