Going to GSM from TDMA - Need help choosing new phone

Am going to be migrating from AT&T TDMA to Cingular GSM and need help choosing a phone.

As to what Cingular is offering on their website, I'm thinking of going with either the Nokia 6102i, Sony Ericsson Z525A, or Motorola RAZR V3. Coming from a Nokia 6360, most of the features these phones have will be new to me. Other than speaker phone, it's doubtful I'll immediately, if ever, use many of the features these phones come with like Bluetooth, camera/video recording, instant messaging, PTT, etc.

What matters to me in a phone is durability, battery life, call clarity both ways, screen readability, and ease of use. The two previous phones I've owned have been Nokia's, a 5165 and the 6360 so naturally I'm leaning that way slightly. I hear from some that Motorola's are kind of a pain to navigate but I can handle a change. Sony Ericsson, I know nothing about how intuitive they are to use.

If anyone has other suggestions, I'm open to them. I only narrowed it down to the three above by looking at reviews from owners on this site and others such as Phonescoop.com.

I've owned numerous Motorolas and Nokias and I can say that from my experience that Nokias are much more intuitive and durable then Motorolas. As for call quality, I'd also give the edge to Nokia due to the better signal strength with most of their phones. Don't know too much about Ericsson lately but I do know that one of their phones that had intrigued me at first (T68i) turned out to be pretty crappily designed and not durable at all....hope that helps.

In terms of basics, the V3 has quadband, bluetooth, speaker phone, VGA camera, and text/SMS capability and not much else, well except that it's one of the most popular phones on the planet because of it's sleek thin form factor.

You can also get it free w/ contract from most of the major providers (along with many other phone choices) from Wirefly.com.

If you are used to a Nokias however the menus and the navigation will probably thow you off, so much so that you may want to stick to a Nokia phone.

Called Wirefly but that deal applies to new customers only.

Stopped by the Cingular store in the SR Mall and looked at the Nokia 6102i, SE Z525A, and the RAZR V3.

Have pretty much decided to go with the RAZR and give it a test drive. I can get it from Cingular online for $49.99 with the Nation 450 plan for #39.99/mth. They're also going to give me 200 minutes more per month for the duration of the two year contract.

If I'm not satisfied with their GSM coverage and the RAZR at the end of 30 days, I'll bail and go elsewhere.
