going to court without a lawyer (custody)?

and the other party does have a lawyer
NO we have a lawyer the other party don't/ if she shows up
what is a persons chance of winning a custody case when they don't have a lawyer?

It's gonna be a long road for the party without the attorney. The judge will most likely appoint a law gaurdian for the child(ren) and may REQUIRE her to get an attorney (if she shows), but she would have a tough time without one. Hope I answered it for ya. Good luck!

P.S. I'm not allowed to vote yet so..."What Anne said too"

If the person without a lawyer already has custody, pretty good... if the other party can't prove abuse/neglect, etc.

If on equal standing (joint custody, both seeing child regularly, all CS paid on time and in full) , nil.
