There's about a million ways to answer this question.
I would recommend it as your daily/only driver.
The best to get is a '93-'97 Twin Turbo 6 speed. But they are expensive now, and only getting more valuable.
If you plan on modding it, you can get something cheaper and just replace/upgrade as needed.
But really you're going to be in the Marines for at least 4 years. What you want can change a lot in that time. What's out there can change a lot.
When you are actually ready to buy and have $50K in hand. Then ask this question because then you'll have a much better idea of what you want and can actually afford.
