What do you call a person that opened a hotel business ?

Also do you guys know how hotel owners got to where they are today what steps the Marriott got to be a Marriott or how the Hilton became the Hilton.
 
Hilton - That's a neat story about Conrad Hilton. Spend a night in a Hilton Hotel. Turn on the Hilton Channel, and watch his story -- about how he obtained properties like the Waldorf Astoria. Kewl stuff.

Marriott - That's a neat story too.

Anyhow, these people are known as "hoteliers"
