Going Hiking..What to bring?

water "hydro-pack" backpack
comforter hiking show or tennis show.

Where are you hiking? Alaska?
I think a regular trail should not be too danger.
 
im going to add some things that karen said

"Bring:
boots, or other suitable footwear
waterproof clothing
plenty to eat
plenty of water to drink

As for the protection against wild animals, carry a pointed stick with you. Bring a knife with you, although try not to use it. :(
Also carry a first aid kit with you."

if you need to protect yourself against wild animals you may want to bring a pistol, cuz you will never know what type of animal

also make sure you bring a flair gun just encase
