going fishing, what do i need?

im going to be doing some fishing hear pretty soon but don't have any gear of my own, what do you guys suggest? Im going to be fishing trout, i saw some shakespeare i believe is the brand poles that seem pretty decent and not too expensive. Also what type of hooks, weights, bait, etc. Thank you guys!

Go to a local tackle shop and ask. Usually thats the best thing to do.

Don't go to a big store like Bass Pro Or Cabelas they'll try selling you the most expensive stuff thwy have and won't teach you just garuntee you stuff.

Definetly don't go to Wal-Mart or places like that cuz nobody knows sh1t there.

Your best bet is to find a tackle shop that has people with experience and ask them.

Ur gonna need some bait like worms or octopuses. Any hook will be fine. That should be all. Oh and bring a cooler with water so you can put ur catches in there and when you can go home, it'll be in good shape.
