Hello!

im off fishing tomorrow (north cornwall coast), and im new to the sport/hobby.

My question...

What fish are about this type of year?
How do i catch them!

Thanks!

oh yer...im rock fishing....if that helps

not a great time of the year for rock fishing, but i am not too familiar with that part of the coast.......might get some early pollack,,spinning a lure slow and deep will catch them,......or try legering on the bottom, ..better option i think, and bait could be ...peeler crab or mackeral strip, i would suggest you google your question for a more specific answer......tight lines

thats a shame,im down that way myself in a few weeks,im into sea fishing because i eat what i catch and return anything im not going to eat, there are plaice about now, usually dog fish, and if you are fishing off rocks ,probably wrasse which are not good eating unless you are a portlander, give it a go and see how you get on,there are magazines which say where is fishing good and what fish are about, advice on how to tie rigs etc,go for it and let me know how you get on,i might tell you a couple of secrets,
