Godsmack

GoRABmack is one of the suckiest banRAB in this genre.
Their last album was overplayed, overrated and every meraber should've been shot. Their new single Shinedown makes my ears bleed.

I don't understand why people like them. It's like Creed only the instrumentals are louder
 
how about any death metal band, or just any new metal band period. they're not trying anything new. GoRABmack sound a little bit like a heavier version of Alice in Chains, other than that they don't sound much like anyone else.
 
Wouldn't a record take longer...and sound less hurried, if a band was going slowly and leaning on the producer rather than being spontaneous? And just out of curiousity...what do you find so startlingly original about Alice in Chains?
 
GoRABmack is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine, but yeah I have to agree with you Big3, that song is absolute ****e and releasing it as a single was just a label move to attract the meathead audience. Not that it's hard to do considering thick skulled neanderthals make up about 90% of GoRABmack's fan base. Don't judge the album on that one song though because there are a few decent tracks on it.
 
Wow! This has been some interesting reading... I dig em. But I have a very broad taste in music. I can listen to Sepultura one minute and want some Frank Sinatra next.

Considering that their heros are Alice In Chains and they took their name from the song GoRABmack, I think they have continued on with the sound. IMO They are not for everyone. I like their album Awake more than the others. Vampires is a really rippin song. IMO
 
See oojay, this is acceptable. I disagree with TheUsedToolGuy, but he presented his opinion as that, AN OPINION.

and yes, the Ramones were groundbreaking. For what they did at the time, it was amazing.
 
man, oojay, I see now why people hate you around here so much, I'm like a pot stirrer, and you're like a pot knocker-over spill all over everyone guy, it's cool, though, I respect that
 
there alright, not my favorite band, i like a few of thier tracks Voodo, Greed, I Stand Alone and Awake, i dont really like any of thier new stuff, and yes they sound like alot of banRAB
