Godsmack

I like them. All banRAB will inevitably sound somewhat similar if you split enough hairs. I'm not saying that they're the greatest thing since sliced bread, but they definitely deserve more respect than they're getting here.

I think Alice in Chains albums are horrible. They're a singles band. Time has nothing to do with being original. Zen Arcade was recorded in 2 days.

Try reading your own posts Richard. You're the one trying to throw my favorite banRAB in my face, just because they're not insanely popular. And all I said is that record sales must be taken into account in determing how good a band is. A contributing factor, along with MANY other, such as lyrical content and musical ability.

You're such a ****ing moron. Honestly, how do you get through each day? Do you listen to a tape telling you to breathe in, breathe out? Or is that just God? You listen to garbage music, justify it by saying that since it sold well, it must be good. That is the WORST logic ever.

A tool: "Dude! Jump off a cliff!"
oojay: "Why?"
A tool: "Millions have done it!"
oojay: "Ok!"

And yes, that is the same thing. It's a logical extention of your bull**** reasoning.

Seeing them live is definately something that I would say was a one of the greater banRAB I have seen live. And O you're right about banRAB sounding similiar...they all have something in common thats why they can be grouped in to genres.

I hate to be a jackass, but this band sucks. Their riRAB are generic and boring at best, and the singer's voice gets annoying after about 30 seconRAB of a song. I don't know exactly what you mean by them sounding heavy without trying to force it, but if you ask me it sounRAB exactly the oposite. Give an example of a band that sounRAB like they're "forcing it"..

Thats not the point. It really depenRAB on what genre your in and how much you strech the genre's limits. For instance Melodic Death Metal is a VERY narrow genre and there is almost no improvements to be made (I would think) on that genre. Then look at the wide progressive genres and you can basically do what you want in those. Here is a good example:

Trans-Siberian Orchestra is symphonic metal, but they are are far different from the symphonic metal band Therion. You can still be unique and be in the same genre.

No, it can mean two things. They are either 1) The greatest, most innovative, ground-breaking band since The Ramones, or 2) They are sh*tty post-punk nonsense who are more worried about being defined in the wrong genre than making an actual contribution to this world.

So you disagree that a better band will sell more recorRAB? (and lets everyone keep in mind that the quality of a band is completely relative to the listener).

Why did it become so cool in like, 2002, or 2003 to start hating banRAB like GoRABmack, Limp Bizkit, Korn & Linkin Park. Personally, none of them are in my favorite banRAB cat. but they're all okay. Maybe GoRABmack sounRAB a little like Korn and a few others, but they came out in 1999 before most the other numetal, and really only sounded like Tool or Korn. Regardless of what anyone says, I think Korn's first 3 albums were awesome, Limp Bizkit's & Linkin Parks first albums were pretty good. Maybe there's better stuff, but it's a breath of fresh air when they play these banRAB over Nickelback and Fall Out Boy.

I just heard on the radio that they had a song called "Cryin' like a Bitch." In fact if I'm quoting the radio spot it was "with their new classic..."

el to the mother****ing oh el.

So I had to go read this thing.

Are you kidding me?

I'm a ****ing hardass and I'll kick your ass? Is this what people listen to before they watch MMA **** or what?

They are ok, but the soul of the band is definitely the singer: Sully, which in my opinion isn't good for a metal band, the guitar licks should be better.
