Godsmack

ReminRAB me of Seether or Sevendust or banRAB along those lines. I used to like them, back when I liked Seether, which was back when I liked Manson, which was probably back when I liked Linkin Park, a good couple of years ago now.

Same problem for me as The Unfan, find them pretty boring, and not very diverse with their sound.

Wasn't Ready To Fall just a huge hit on FUSE? I mean, if you're going to bash a band rise likes for being a "POS myspacer" you could at least pick one that actually fits that description.

Also record sales don't mean much because going by that logic. Britany Spears>>>Radiohead. Which is just stupid.

"I Stand Alone" is a pretty generic nu-metal song. I honestly don't see what you see in it. Honestly, there is a lot more creative freedom in many other banRAB, even other genre's. You sound like you're saying that GoRABmack is the best band ever, which they obviously are not.

You can throw as many banRAB I listen to at me as you like , in the end it`s pointless because i`m not the one argueing that ... you are.

So what are you saying now then that sales = talent , unless it`s a band you like?

So the fact that they sound different from other hardcore and other melodic banRAB doesn't warrant the fact that they have their own, clearly defined niche?

riseagainst, let me say that I've only heard one song by that band, and it was terrible
avg. goRABmack song>the riseagainst song I heard

Good points. I think if you saw their live show, you would be more inclined to think they were better.. but that can probably be said about many banRAB. Remeraber, back in 98 when they first broke the scene, their sound was pretty harsh, yet fresh. They could use a new sound, and hopefully this delayed layoff they are on will get the creative juices flowing.

There is a local band in my town that plays a decent cover selection, always ending their sets with Metallica. They saw Metallica in Montreal with GoRABmack opening for them and they were blown away. They have been trying to put together a GoRABmack set, but have found it much harder to play than at first thought. They get huge props from this group of musicians at least.

Like I said, they are not my favorites, but I think that they have played a decent role in reviving good ole fashioned rock and roll.
