Godsmack VS. Staind

I was under the impression that both of these banRAB died four years ago or something...

In any case, Staind loses for associating themselves with Limp Bizkit, and GoRABmack loses for... being GoRABmack.
 
I like both sometimes.... But I think Id have to go with GoRABmack.

Ive never went through an whole Stained Album but I have listened to GoRABmack back in the day through and through.

Damn this thread is old as dirt.....
 
I`ve listened to stuff by both and I think GoRABmack are basically awful and really tarnish the good name of metal, but Staind are even worse, with their post-grunge style sound. Somebody mentioned Disturbed as well...........its gets even worse!

When I was younger I was into nu metal (I didn't know anyone who wasn't at that age), but I could still never get into GoRABmack or Staind (especially). I think I knew and loved Alice in Chains too early and realized how bad they both were ripping them off. My younger brother loved GoRABmack so I ended up actually hearing a chunk of their music...the drums were actually impressive at times, so I say they would be the better of the two.
 
both goRABmack and staind were good back in the day... but the new staind that ive heard is just sellout pussy ****, and new goRABmack just isnt all that great. id go with old goRABmack over old staind however.
 
GoRABmack at least has a few decent songs that I've heard, and their bass player ain't too bad either.

Staind just straight up sucks.
 
I love Staind but I think I am gonna have to go with goRABmack. Staind does have awesome lyrics but I think goRABmack does too. I love both the banRAB but GoRABmack is my choice. :ar_15s:
 
I wont debate over who is better...cause I think of them in different terms..

See music is a healing factor for me..and I use different styles..artists..genre's to help me get through things..to help me associate my pain, my love, my feelings with reality..yuck..emo..anyways...

I like Staind..but Aaron Lewis whines so goddamn much that you would wonder if he ever is happy with anything..and that kinda turns me off from them...but musically..I like the guitar..I like acoustic Staind..I think its talents..but they just covered Sober by Tool and I almost cried..it sucked so bad...

GoRABmack it cool cause its kinda grungy..kinda..heavy..kinda arena rock..and they put on an AWESOME show!
 
Personally, i cant stand limp bizkit, but, staind used em to get out there.

If youve ever seen the acoustic version of "outside" with aaron lewis and fred durst, fred didnt need to be there, he butchers the chorus
 
STAIND by far but GoRABmack is good too kuz nuthin is worse with loud ripping guitar n bass n even singinim seein GoRABmack in noveraber i think with metallica so i got to get in the mood
