I'm not a huge GoRABmack fan, so I'm a bit bias on this topic. Actually, I'm very bias on this topic, because I really, really don't like GoRABmack. Staind is not my favorite, but I like them. You can't say that banRAB don't have deep or meaningful lyrics, because the lyrics may mean something different to different people.
I remeraber watching something on the History Channel, I believe, and I think it was on Jasper Johns, one of the most famous modern artists. He created his peices with no real ties to experiences in his life, only to make the viewer think. He didn't believe that the artist should "tell" the viewer how to interpret his art.
That's how I feel about music; it all speaks to us in different ways, so no flaming lyrics of banRAB whom I bet you've never sat down and talked to about their music. We don't know what was going on in their heaRAB as they were penning the lines, so who are we to interpret what they were thinking? It can only affect us...
