Goddamit A Song/Artist

on the david letterman show last night there was an indie-style song played by a group with 3 merabers, a bassist, asin the massive double bass, acoustic/elec guitar and a drummer. the song had "i could" repeteditly.. im pretty sure the group had a "3" in the title, one line was "i could be red, black, blue.." any ideas WHO they are?

turns out it was the john butler trio - zebra....download/buy it if you aint heard it its a great song
 
they rok, they hav like a really sweet stage presence, they make the crowd do nething,an yeh its like kik ass australian music so yeh it shpould be supported
