well, i have a "deep problem" with you existing, but we can't always get what we want, can we?
wait, actually, no, i don't; you're some idiot from texas who got married in a courthouse at the ripe old age of 16, and considering i'm never going to meet you, i really don't give a shit whether you exist.
in truth, i sympathized with what he said; most teachers score tenure and then just do whatever the hell they want -- not education. i have not ever, and will not ever, reduce myself to that.
on the other hand, however, there's a bit of a learning experience in becoming able to identify when someone else's choice is entirely arbitrary; consequently there's a huge learning experience in being able to choose your battles.
