God damn teacher

I hate my math teacher. she is a complete bitch. first off she has moved all our desks into a square around the room, all facing inwards. she then wonders why some people complain about her "design". I sit facing the back of the room, with my desk next to hers. she yells at the class all the time, with a high pitched whiney voice. i have a headache at the end of class. she explains everything to fast and expects us to be able to do math as fast as her. she also thinks im stupid. i have to hand in my assignments early to have her check them over. I really, really hate her.

If she writes you a letter of exception to fail you, then you might have a case. That's what my old high school geometry teacher did. My final percentage in the class was 72% and he wrote a friggin letter of exception so I'd have to go to summer school. What a dick.

no, i am not stupid, i have a 85 average. i also enjoy math sometimes. it just sucks when you have a teacher who doesn't like teaching.

I firmly believe that a teacher's personality has just as much impact on the students success as does their own abilities and motivation.

I don't know. I'm starting to think that I would have learned better in high school if the teachers just gave me objectives and had me figure it out myself.

we dont understand her instructions. everybody just works it out for themselves or asks somebody who understands it anyway. we are doing a lot of pattern work with the formulas and all.

First of Morelos I have a deep problem with you being a teacher that is beside the point. Judging from how unconfrotable she makes her classroom feel and giving off the negative vibe of making a student feel stupid does not help anyone learn any better.

Some people make great teachers cause they take the time to listen to their students talk to them on their lvl and teach and teach because they love to teach and have a passion in it.

Brovo Max. I couldn't have said it any better. And on a bit of a side note, if your teacher doesn't take an interest in what he/she is teaching or they make it so boring and stupid, they can't exactly get mad at you for not doing you best becuase it's not the best learning environment for everyone. Not everyone can have their ideal learning environment, but that doesn't mean to make it unbearable in the classroom. I swear, math can go burn in Hell. My math teachers didn't teach me anything. I had one truely good math teacher and she was just an awsome teacher in general. I didn't learn my multiplication tables until I was in her class my 6th grade year and that's after I asked to be moved to a slower Math class because we were doing 4+ chapters a day and, surprise, i couldn't keep up. So yeah, math royally rots. As long as you know how to properly work your calculator you'll be fine.
