I saw bourne identity after seeing bourne ultimatum and i was like "OH SHIT!"

In Empire Magazine, Paul greengrass discussed the fact that he and the writers didn't know what story to tell for this new film. They realized that they never explained why bourne went to New York and why Landy was still looking for him. So they decided to re-shoot that scene and put it at the beginning of the third act in this film.
