Gnutella doesn't work

I downloaded gnutella soft from gnutellafrance. When i start gnutella soft, there are no connexions to gnutellaNet and so no hosts. But, IP adress work.
I don't understand. it's odd !
somebody help me ?

go to mandrake.com and download Linux for free, get Gtk-Gnutella and have a blast!
Old clients have problems.
