Gnarls Barkley

Crazy was a fairly unoriginal song but their hook is their simplicity. In this day and age of RnB meaning booty shakin' unoriginal pap, Gnarls Barkley delivered an album that revelled in the art of the song and classic composition. I happen to love the fact that they fly in the face of convention while making completely commercial music.

Sweet ass beats - goofy frontmen - uniquely bold vocals.
they are tight. i've listened to cee-lo's soul machine CD, its allright. i've never listened to dangermouse's solo shiz. the duo G.Barkley is superior.

i would say outkast, maybe even Jurassic 5 may get ur groove goin if you like gnarles barkely.

cheers!

i can respect that. i don't write or read music, i don't play an instrument I suppose I wouldn't know a great composition if it hit me in the face. i just know what i like and what i don't. :)

gnarls barkley

well, Crazeh was a good song. And so was that other one I kept hearing on the radio, smiling or summat. Who can tell meh something 'bout the album?

I hate that word. Almost anything involving that word puts me off the subject unless I'm already familiar with it.

It was a sunny day, and a mate of mine said he'd brought this funky new album. I was like okay, lets hear it then, you listen to some crap but I know your not likely to make me gag. He puts the disc in:

"a ring ding ding ding weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" Crazy Frog. For fuck sake. Then two weeks later he says he's got this funky new tune on his cell, it was batman.

So thats the last time I trust anything thats 'funky'. Funky sounRAB queer enough as it is without being associated to bad music.

Shit this is almost good enough for the bitch box.
