Gmail On Berry

I wanted to ad my gmail acct to my berry I have 5 other accts but gmail will not work. I had it on my pearl but will not work for my new curve 8320 and has new OS if that matters

gmail should work no problem.
I have it running to my 8330 with OS 4.5

you shouldn't have a problem.
what is it telling you?

says an error accurred during email acct validation please check your info and try again if error persist please contact your email acct provider. I know password and name are fine did it on my pc and was fine

If you are adding it, so it would be number 6 that is your problem, as one can only have 5 email accts on one BB.

this is an odd problem. maybe try re-sending your service books
but then again maybe archer is right

you can have up to TEN email add. on your berry...did you have to set your gmail settings to pop email in your gmail settings?

Now that you mention I believe I did have to set gmail to pop or smtp one of the 2 pop I believe

yep! i did that to get mine on outlook so it syncs both

I just downloaded the gmail for the phone instead of pushed email. Works just was well but got to check my mail not pushed to phone

also not really sure how to get all that pop info thanks for your time

here is one of the deals you will have to fix your settings in your gmail account. but you can definitely have up to 10. I have 9 on one berry and 3 on another.

log into your gmail account go to settings forwarding pop/imap. and then make sure pop is enabled.

I was wrong you can have up to 10. Also remember that Gmail is web based. You do not have to use the pop or imap. I don't.
