gmail keeps asking for permission on n73 ME...

i'm new at this Series 60 stuff, but i tried everything that i thought was humanly possible to always allow the gmail app to work without me having to give it permission to send packets and without having to select an access point (i.e., MEdiaNet). can anyone help me out? i tried searching but it didn't help too much...
 
With some applications you can set them to never ask in the App Manager. The Google apps on the other hand don't lend themselves to this. I've set the google apps to the most liberal of connection options I could set on my N73 and all the apps will continue to ask for permission.
