I don't know what it is but my Gmail app hasn't been sending messages, it just says sending in red for hours and days.
I try to send it to my outbox so I can send it via my PC's browser, but nothing works out.

Anyone else experiencing this difficulty?

I went to do a nandroid backup before I wipe and try to make things work again but it says
"Error running nandroid backup. B
ackup not performed."

ice , see if tmo will change your phone out . it seems problematic !
you know my reply , try wiping and reinstalling the rom . or , turn off syncing then turn it back on , and check if it works

@sims I inqured about a new battery but they said my phone is older than 6 months old so they aren't giving me nothing. However HTC might but they don't work on weekends so I haven't got in touch with them.

@Desert. I don't even see that option but I have my stuff syncing and all.

Htc might give you a new one . Its hit and miss with them . If they say no , keep trying , someone there will say yes . Tell them you get like 3 hours tops with everything off ....

Don't panic. I had the same thing happen after Gmail service was down a few hours the other day. The phone freaks out. Here is the solution. I only had to do the first part and then it synced up again. Brian

I did all that, and I know where to find the sync settings in Gmail and within the system. None of that worked.
I redownloaded 4.0.4 and flashed that along with the Xtheme and its working again.

My Gmail account never went down when Gmail through its little temper tantrum

so ice , if you listened to my advice in the second post , in which i clearly highlighted for you , you would have been fine a while ago

im glad everything is working

I'm 18 Sims I do things my way or its the highway you know that, and I didn't wipe haha.
I'm afraid to wipe my phone with all my apps on the sd card.
But I've taken the sd card out and wiped my phone a bunch.

dont be afraid , a wipe doesnt touch that sd card .

about being 18 and doing things your way or the highway , im twice your age and that still applies to me . its my way or the highway ! but this only pertains to me , since we all are individuals and have our own opinions(well , ok , some of us dont) . anyways , sometimes thats the best way to learn something , in life also , is to do it/figure it out yourself . that way it usually sticks with you , forever .

Haha eye nose sims :]
Me and you will definitely hang out if we're ever in the same neck of the woods.

And I thought that much about the sd card too, I need to head over to Xda and look around and then do that whole "Never have to wipe again to upgrade" thing.

you usually never have to wipe if you are updating the same rom , only if going to a different rom . it is a good idea to wipe after a long time without a wipe . even with apps2sd your internal memory fills up . periodically , its good to wipe and clear out that memory . you really dont have to wipe very often , its just with constantly updating cyans roms , thing can go awry . wiping helps prevent those problems .

happens from time to time, go into applications and clear gmail data for both instances, and then let the phone resync.

if that does not work you'll need to wipe.

you'll loose what's in the outbox though either way.

This is the fix which I came with up on my Android to work around this bug:

1. Open Label Outbox

2. Select original offending message.

3. Scroll down to end of message and select Reply and then Save draft.

4. Close Outbox and open label Drafts.

5. Open email and there is your unsent message which can now be sent, copied or discarded!
