GM is failing and we bailed them out...let's tax UAW workers at 90%?

I mean they made their money under legally binding contracts, so we will simply recoup our money from them. In addition, we will tax all GM retirees at 90% as well. LET'S JUST TAX EVERYBODY AT 90% AND ALL GO ON WELFARE!!! I hope every Democrat AND Republican that fell for this Red Herring that Obama threw out gets cancer of the butt hole!!!!! And if you are too stupid to know why I call this a red herring...then just forget what I said...you are not smart enough to explain it to. Believe me...those who are paying attention and not under Obama's spell know what the heck I am talking about!
Farad: 1. That's not the point and if you were smart enough to decifer what I am talking about you whould know that. 2. Your average UAW member is about as worthless as a hammer made of jello and they are vastly overpaid for doing what a trained monkey could do with more skill and more caring. Don't bother defending these idiots...BECAUSE SOME OF THEM ARE IN MY FAMILY AND I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!! I grew up in Detroit and I wouldn't give you ten cents for all the lives of all the UAW members. I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire!!!
To those defending taxing the AIG folks: Since you are too stupid to know this I will explain:

1. Only a single division of AIG dragged the rest of the company down. That means there are people who worked all year, met every goal required of them and achieved everything they were expected to achieve and now when they are to be rewarded for their hard work on their division of the company, their contractually obligated bonuses are going to be specifically targeted for a 90% tax. ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME?!?!?!

2. None of this matters because Obama told you retards to pay attention to this while AIG took TWENTY BILLION of our tax dollars and shipped them OVERSEAS with the blessing of the same people that are "Shocked and Outraged" at $165 Million in bonuses.

Now either you are bad at math or you are just a retard!
 
Are the autoworkers receiving exorbitant bonuses? I was not aware of line workers receiving any money in excess of their usual salary.
 
I think the 90% tax is a great idea. How could anyone have the balls to take a bonus for bankrupting their company, I would be ashamed. Take it back in taxes, great idea.
The GM workers are being told that regardless of their legally binding contract they will have to take cuts in pay, cuts in health insurance and cuts in all contract issues. They are not being given a choice, they are not telling the govt. that they can't renig on promises that were made in legally binding contracts. You are a perfect example of those who hope Obama fails, even if our country goes down the drain with him. Thinking about things might help instead of just reacting.
 
GM used bailout money to pay the UAW workers annual bonus's

So why not tax those bonus's at 90%

You really are making yourself look silly here.
The situation is very different with AIG - and even the beneficiaries of these bonuses know it is wrong - that's why a bunch gave them back.
