GM in trouble - how will Holden (Australia) cope?

The Australian car manufacturer Holden is part of the GM conglomerate, to my knowledge. GM's European affiliates are currently really worried about what might happen to them (Saab, Opel).
How does the situation affect Holden though?
Would be a pity to lose them, I think.
 
in germany is opel (who is on a par to holden & GM) becauso of his sales safe. Nothing will be closed or worker unimployed


I wish for australia and newzeeland the same, greatings from europe to the other side of the world
 
There are many theories going around Holden, since last year , Holdens have had shut downs of around 10 working days a month.
They a on a 2 week shut down now.

They are totally reliant on the 4 cylinder coming out next year.
For every single person employed y Holden, there are 8 people reliant on them for work!
Parts manufacturers, truck drivers etc.
