GM closing down Pontiac. What cars will be collector cars in the future? 20 years.?

Here's the golden rule about collector cars.....

If they didn't want it then - then they wont want it now....

Everybody wants a 69 Roadrunner....

Nobody wants a 69 Pacer.....

Everybody wants a 20 year old Corvette.....

Nobody wants a 20 year old pontiac Sunbird....

See the pattern here?.........

Of course lots of folks will want a Pontiac GTO.....

Nobody wants a Pontiac station wagon.........

Stick with collecting the Pontiac's everybody wanted.... Firebirds, GTO's and similar models.... Those will always get the money!
 
Well, Pontiac/GM has had a couple of home runs in the past... The Firebird and the Goat (GTO)... I think there could be two current models that could be collector cars down the line... The Sunbird and the V6 Grand Prix's...The rest of them will fade into the mists of time like the Oldsmobile Ciera or the Ford Pinto...
 
none of them. gm is offing the pontiac brand, but will probably take all of the cars in the lineup and shuffle them around to the other brands.

for instance the chevy g6 and g8. the
