Of course global warming is real, anyone who says otherwise seriously needs to read up on their information and be aware with how our world is changing. Being blind to the problem and acting like it isn't true, isn't going to make it go away.
 
nrdc appears to be an environmentalist site rather than a science site with Leonardo DiCaprio on the board of trusties. For information on what the Arctic is doing I would be more inclined to use a site like this.
