plz Give me some reasons :
why skeptics of global warming are present only in highly industrialized countries?Who are financing them ?
How many people with knowledge in science in industrialized countries are rejecting the greenhouses gases induced global warming?
Why third world countries are not ready to cut down carbon gas emissions?what do they want- tech. transfer or something else?
Why renewable energy generation and usage is poor?/What are the best possible alternatives to oil and coal which can answer all energy problems?
thank you :)
colin...you know the art of answering :)

The benefits of a highly industrialized countries are very good. Providing high quality of life much like a royalty. Don't know who finance them but there are thousands of corporation giving to environmental charity either as a tax write off or requirement by law.
Why third world countries not ready to cut down carbon gas.. Scientifically speaking, US uses 85% of the available fossil fuel in the world. In ratio to carbon emission of US to other developing countries it's still not enough consumption to have a grand effect. Developing countries just doesn't want to give US more of their own resource so that they can burn more. They trade because they need food, security. Degradation of their own resource is at stake if US continues to consume. I don't think you want to hear the answer to the last question. There is no such thing as a right answer but I will give you a solution that most companies would employ if it was a corporate decision. The natural resource of the earth is limited and demand of the resource is high. Seeing that we can't create natural resource out of thin air, we need to downsize demand. Meaning, sacrifices. Either you decrease your power consumption or kill off half the population.

The highly industrialized nations have the most educated people and they can see a hoax much more quickly than a bunch of people that get their 2nd grade education and are ready to lead the nation. It took 18,000 years to melt 60% of the ice from the last ice age. What man made greenhouse gas emissions caused that warming cycle?

wow, ok, you got a lot of stuff going on here, let me try to attack this one by one.

let me preface by saying that i have no real opinion on the issue of global warming, other than it is probably natural global cycles slightly magnified by human forces. but the jury's out, and will be for some time.

1. skeptics are only in industrialized countries because they can afford to be skeptics, and they have lobbyists working for them. give scientists enough money, and they can prove the sky is green.

2. as with answer 1, science can often straddle both sides of an issue, so you are likely to find as many people for the evidence as you can against it. it does not mean it is true or untrue, just under debate.

3. third world or developing nations cannot afford to cut down on carbon emissions because if they do, they risk losing any industrial momentum they have, without profitable and growing industry, the country's economic development will likely flounder,

4. renewable energy, in the plainest sense, is just not up to par yet. recycling is expensive, biofuels are not any more efficient than fossil fuels, and production is expensive and still requires fossil fuels to produce them. in the future, renewable energy will be more easily transported and manufactured and will positively effect society. but with mankind's current energy consumption, renewable energy will simply not provide a viable output at this time.
