I very rarely watch a film more than once or twice, but Gladiator?

I must have seen 10 times and still never tire of it.

That final scene still brings a lump to my throat. :(

Anyone else agree?
 
Gladiator is entertaining hokum but it is ludicrously overrated.

In the 50's they used to knock out similar sword and sandal epics by the bucket load & it's definitely not up to Ben Hur standard.

More Victor Mature with bells on.
 
I adore Gladiator. Such a beautiful film. And yes, the soundtrack is amazing.

As for the final scene ... I watch it pretty much weekly on youtube :o I watch the film at least once a year. :)
