How many of you remember that thread I made last year about the Dunning-Kruger effect? Well, it gets even worse...

This doesn't sound like ANYONE who posts here, now does it

Full article from The Boston Globe: http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/ideas/articles/2010/07/11/how_facts_backfire/
NPR Radio transcript discussing the topic: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=128490874
Incidentally, I work with two of the professors mentioned in the article and have assisted with similar research

according to DIAC I'm an idirabroad
, so clearly it wouldn't. my post history is public, feel free to indicate at which points I've refused to admit a fact in defense of personal opinion

Does that mean that the researchers beliefs might have twisted the facts of the experiment?

I made this thread about a month ago.

Glad to see the same players failing again to comprehend the subject

it's all over all sides of the political spectrum. there are plenty of libertarians that are exactly the same way and view me (being a more "moderate" libertarian) as a traitor to their beliefs even though I can back up with fact a lrabroad
of the things that differentiate me from a more radical libertarian.

Wanna bold important parts in that article? I'm doing some tedious desk work and don't have time to read the whole thing
