Give your opinion: Should I enlist in the Army or do ROTC in college?

Im 17 and will be starting college fall of 2010. I want to join the Army but I dont know if I should enlist after high school or do ROTC in college. If you have experiences with either please share them.
 
ROTC, you get a stipend and still get to attend class, when you graduate you will have a higher ranking then if you just went right in to it.Also, going through college first, you can see what kind of career path you may want to take in the Army.
Youwill be better prepared for challenges in the Army, along with more problem solving and leadership skills. This is a huge decision.
 
If you enlist in rotc then join you will be a higher rank ie. a officer such as a 2nd Lt and be payed more. if you join after highschool you will be a private and be payed way lower
